What ingredients are compatible with Jagua Powder?

It works well with: Humectants (glycerin, aloe gel), Carbomer gels, Natural binders, Water-based systems, Oil-based systems require additional dispersants or are not ideal.

What are the color-sensitive parameters?

pH: Develop targeting a slightly acidic pH range of 5.0–6.5 and test extremes of your product

Light: The color tends to be sensitive to UV light (photodegradation/change in hue), so the use of opaque/amber packaging is recommended for the products

Temperature: Color loss/change may occur under heat stress; avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures >45–50 °C.

Oxygen and metals: Oxidation and metallic traces can accelerate color change; the use of chelating agents, compatible antioxidants, and control of raw materials is recommended.





Are there precautions to apply to preserve the formula?

Powdered dye does not preserve the final product. In aqueous systems, treat it like any other cosmetic product with microbiological risks.
