Production process
Jojoba seeds are harvested from the jojoba plant. The seeds are contained within the jojoba fruit, which resembles a small, oval-shaped nut.
The seeds are extracted from the fruit by manually removing the outer shell. This exposes the seed, which contains the valuable oil.
The extracted seeds are cleaned to remove any dirt, debris, or impurities.
The cleaned seeds are then dried to reduce their moisture content. This is typically done in a controlled environment to prevent mold or mildew growth.
The dried jojoba seeds are subjected to a cold-pressing process to extract the oil. Cold pressing involves using mechanical pressure to crush the seeds and release the oil. It is called "cold pressing" because the process doesn't involve high heat, which helps preserve the oil's natural properties.
After the oil is extracted, it is filtered to remove any remaining solid particles or impurities.
