Primegreen supplies licuri oil to formulators looking for a natural alternative to silicones in hair and skin care.

Award winning at Cosmetic 360

Licuri oil won the Prix Coup de cœur du jury in the Regeneration category at Cosmetic 360 in Paris in October 2026.

A supply chain that protects the Lear's macaw

Our licuri comes from Bahia, where 767 families, under female leadership, harvest the ripe fruit of wild licuri palms across 12,000 hectares of Caatinga. The licuri palm is the main food source of the endangered Lear's macaw (Anodorhynchus leari), so responsible harvesting of ripe fruit only, replanting of licuri palms and the care of healthy trees are built into the program: the community's collection area, if conserved, can feed the current macaw population for around 30 years.
